Solar with Battery Backup

Solar power with energy storage

Store Solar Energy and Independently Power Your Home

Tropical Storm

Even on cloudy, rainy days solar panels generate energy. In fact, a solar system will produce around 25% to 45% of the energy it would produce under ideal conditions on a cloudy day and the system will still produce a reduced amount of electricity during rain however, solar panels alone will not operate or provide backup power during a blackout.

Adding a battery backup to your solar panel system will provide you with additional energy independence and enable you to store backup power for your home during severe weather conditions and blackouts.

Let one of our solar experts help you design a solar system unique to you and one that will prepare you for the unexpected.

Rain or Shine, You've Got the Power

We have partnered with some of America's most innovative clean energy company's and through these partnerships we can deliver first-class products coupled with only the highest level of service and delivery.

If you want to rest easy knowing that you will have power in the event of an emergency, we can add a battery backup to your solar system design. A solar battery stores energy, detects outages and automatically becomes your home's energy source when the grid goes down.

We make it easy to bundle a new solar panel system with a state of the art backup battery through our flexible financing options and we can even get you approved, if you’ve been turned down before.

Going off Grid with Solar Power

Most building with solar power are still connected to the grid as we can consider this like a giant backup battery that is available whenever your panels are not producing the amount of electricity you need. Going "off the grid" with solar panels is possible however, there are several different counterparts and steps one must take to go completely, 100% "off the grid".

Firstly, one must take into account the size of their home, their economical status, and the amount of daylight they get in their location. You will also need to change or reevaluate your daily habits so that you can consume as little electricity as possible. Because solar panels do not produce electricity 24/7, you will need to install a backup battery to store extra solar energy to power your home when the sun is not shining. Most homeowners who have gone completely off the grid suggest installing enough batteries to store enough energy to power your home for a few days.
